Alliance Phones
Alliance Phones are a phone system provider located in San Francisco, offering unlimited calls to the United States and Canada with their three plans and many features. Their cloud-based system can accommodate over 100 users. However, it also has solutions for small businesses, starting with just one employee. Additionally, as they use VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology, they have a selection of compatible IP phones with a varying number of lines, cordless DECT phones, and adaptors to modify your existing phone to make it suitable.
Plans
Alliance Phones currently offer three plans that all have the same advanced features and have unlimited minutes in the United States and Canada. Unfortunately, there are no international plans yet. Therefore standard phone service provider rates apply for other countries, so whilst it is helpful for the US and Canada, businesses should consider whether this is a practical plan. For those who are unsure, there is a one-month free trial, which can help make this decision at no extra cost.
The Easy Plus plan targets tiny businesses, allowing 1 to 3 users. Priced at £23 for each user per month, it is an affordable way for new companies to obtain a VoIP phone system without the hefty costs, encouraging them to communicate and find new clients over the phone. It is the complete plan because there is not much range for users, but it is ideal for family-run businesses that do not have plans to expand.
The Simplicity Plus Plan is the intermediate plan, accommodating between 4 and 20 users on the phone system, with each person costing £19 monthly. It is noticeable that the more upgrades a plan has, the less the price costs per user, acknowledging that the more employees a business has, the more money they have to put aside for phone expenses, and therefore trying to lessen that cost. This plan has the same features as all other plans.
The Effortless Plus Plan is a wide-ranging plan, allowing 21 to 100+ users to utilise the phone system at £15 each per month. As always, the features included areas the same as any other plan, but large businesses can benefit more from the advanced options such as ring groups, auto-attendant and call conferencing, making it easier to manage a large volume of calls. More local or toll-free numbers can be added for £3.75 every month.
Features
All three plans have the same basic and advanced features, categorised by their function in the phone system. For instance, all Cloud PBX calling features aim to increase the number of calls picked up and minimised the time customers wait in the queue. Examples of this include’ auto-attendant, a pre-recorded menu where callers must answer the automated questions to be transferred to the appropriate extension, or even ‘music-on-hold that occupies customers whilst they wait to feel acknowledged and are aware that they are still on the line.
Other features like ‘ring groups’ ensure that all telephones ring simultaneously, so the chance of an agent picking up is higher. Call conferencing lets many lines into the same call, which is useful when colleagues discuss clients, strategies or projects.
Voicemail features are often overlooked but are effective ways to communicate when one party is unavailable. Businesses can have pre-recorded voicemails sent to clients that include contact details for the customer to call back, saving time to record a new message each time or customising their voicemail for callers that cannot reach them. Furthermore, voicemail transcription converts the audio file into text. It sends it to the agent to read the message’s contents without having to listen to multiple audio files.
Other notable features are integrations like Microsoft, call supervising such as ‘eavesdropping, whispering and barging’, and ‘call recording’ or ‘logs’.
Phones
Because Alliance Phones are a provider that uses VoIP technology, the phones that agents use must be compatible with the internet. This means they must either be an IP phone or use an Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA), which connects the existing regular phone to the internet router. Fortunately, Alliance Phones offer a range of suitable IP office phones varying from two lines to ten, from several companies that businesses can choose from.
Additionally, conference phones are ideal for agents that require high-quality audio and a reduction of background noise due to speaking with many different people at once on the same call. Cordless phones allow agents to move, as they can be used within the range of the system and have long battery life.
Alliance Phones – To Conclude
Overall, Alliance Phones have inclusive plans for businesses of all sizes, offering basic and advanced PBX features for all users and assisting clients in choosing a reliable phone.
